14th May 2010 - Being Mindful of the Brain - Patricia Riddell, School of Psychology and CLS, University of Reading.

This session will look at how the latest neuroscience research supports and challenges our understanding of learning with the brain in mind. Tricia will introduce some of the latest research (in a brain friendly, interactive style) to promote discussion of what it means to design training with the brain in mind. She will also lead a question and answer session where she will address questions that you have raised about the brain on the BFLG forum. The aim is to both challenge some current models, and to show how neuroscience can support and extend training practice.

Tricia is a lecturer and researcher in Developmental Neuroscience at the University of Reading. She has a passion for training with the brain in mind and uses these techniques in her own teaching.
